Visited for lunch on Saturday. It was a little after 12, with only 1 customer ahead of me, so it was quiet. Given the area, there are fewer people on weekends, so it stays quiet. That day I had shoyu ramen with all the toppings. 1000 yen. The shoyu ramen has a tonkotsu base. The noodles contain whole-wheat flour, are flat and quite thick, and feel rather firmly cooked, a little like G-style noodles. The soup definitely has a tonkotsu character. The kaeshi is strong, making it quite soy-sauce-salty, or simply salty. Good for people who like bold, rich flavors, though this will divide opinions. Toppings were 3 slices of well-seasoned chashu with a firm texture, plenty of menma, a seasoned egg cut in half, and a little long green onion. The seasoned egg was also fairly strongly flavored. Overall, the flavors are strong. But they aren't crude. The restaurant is stylish and tidy. The female floor staff member's service left a very good impression. This place has a very extensive menu, so I'd like to come back and try another ramen. A good restaurant.
View on GoogleVisited for lunch for the first time. The restaurant is clean and has a nice atmosphere. Since it was my first visit, I played it safe and ordered shoyu ramen and mini chahan. The soup stock is delicious enough to drink it all. The noodles are firm, almost too chewy. Personally, I might prefer them a little softer. The chahan is garlic-based and tasted of nothing but garlic. I think this is another flavor people will be divided over.
View on GoogleA place where you can try many kinds of ramen. The menu is extensive, with shoyu, shio, miso, tsukemen, mazesoba, and Jiro-style ramen. I had ramen with all the toppings. Bold soup and extra-thick noodles. The noodles have bite, but aren't springy and chewy. They break apart and felt a little floury. The interior is neat and kept clean. There are tables as well as counter seats, so groups are welcome. Payment is through a meal-ticket machine, cash only. Ramen is also available to take away.
View on GoogleThere were so many choices that I was struggling to order, and a polite, cheerful female staff member thoughtfully helped me decide. After discussing it, I ordered “shio ramen with all the toppings.” The portion felt a little underwhelming for an all-toppings bowl, but the flavor was refined, neither too strong nor too light. However, I didn't feel it matched the price, so I probably wouldn't order it again. Still, there are plenty of menu options, so hopefully I can find one that suits me in the future. Adding them as a friend on LINE gets you a perk; that day I received free mentaiko rice.
View on GoogleOrdered Kumamoto-style mayu tonkotsu shio ramen (850 yen at the ticket machine)‼️ The noodles are thin; personally, I wonder if medium curly noodles would pair better? The chashu is firm… I'd like a little more mayu. Enjoyed it!
