Just amazing. Great food, and the hostess was so friendly and helpful though we spoke no japanese and they no english. The english menu was very limited, but by persevering - and a lot of patience from our hosts! - We still managed to get some great dishes with some very nice sake to wash it down! We also learned hoyts to eat soba properly. Give this one a go if you're nearby!

This was fantastic. Walked the streets New Year's Eve and spotted a queue. Decided to go back there for lunch. We do not regret this. It has been the best meal so far in Japan. Noodles where delicious, tempura oustanding and Katsu was also fantastic. Had to wait but about 20min for a seat. Food was delivered within a reasonable time. The queue earlier was longer, but the wait was absolutely worth it.

Reasonable soba. Ridiculously slow to bring food out - more than an hour wait after ordering at 230pm

To close out the 2025-26 season of eating Nabeyaki Udon, I visited [Kanda Owariya Honten]. I had wanted to enter a noodle shop with a flavorful atmosphere in the Kanda Sudacho area at least once. 【Hot 'Nabeyaki Udon'】 While waiting for the 'Nabeyaki Udon', I enjoyed cold sake little by little while looking at the interesting interior of the shop. Then, not long after, an older sister with the style of a Showa-era hall staff member wearing a white apron and bandana brought the 'Nabeyaki Udon' that looked hot. When I sipped the hot udon soup with a spoon, the taste was sweet. The udon was thin, slippery, and chewy noodles. I ate it while blowing on it. Thank you for the meal. I think this is a good place to eat calmly. Looking at the menu, there are 'Kiji-yaki Don' and 'Nishin Soba', so I have something to look forward to for the next and subsequent visits.
