A perfect introduction to Iekei ramen! Tonkotsu and shoyu taste that make you satisfied for your day ahead. Noddles with very QQ and chashu was tender. Suggestion for first timers, use the chilli paste halfway to change the profile and gives that extra heat.

This is my first time trying iekkei ramen. This is patrionised by many locals so I know it is authentic. I won't say it's bad, but it is not to my taste. The noodles were perfectly cooked. However, the broth just was too salty and oily for my liking. For foreigners not used to the taste, you can try altering the lightness of the broth.

This ramen has the best broth I had in Tokyo. It is so rich and flavour, that I usually go for the soft version, because the regular is even too rich. At any time there is a queue of locals. It is affordable. The noodles absorb the broth well, and they have a good consistency and size. And with one ramen, you are full. I go there once in a while since I live in the area. Best ramen I had in Tokyo, so far. You can only pay cash at the machine. The queue might be long but it goes fast. I like the atmosphere because you sit at the counter, and they have these two massive pots where they cook the broth, and it's full of bones. Delicious. The meat is pork, so this is not halal, for those who care.

Ramen with a pretty greasy and salty taste. The rich taste of the broth has a strange addictive quality. It's quite a lot of people, so you have to wait for about 20 minutes.

My first iekei style ramen experience. The flavor is amazing and the meat is tender. I will come back again in the future.
