Very tasty and great service! Definitely worth a visit!
View on GoogleAwesome okonomiyaki. It's a little bit to find the place since it is tucked away from the street restaurants. This basement restaurant is cozy and great place to grab some beers, food, and chill out with friends.
View on GoogleFood took a while to prepare, but everything else was good
View on GoogleThis is my first time being disappointed by flour-based food. I've seen several posts about bad service. I wouldn't call the service good, but it wasn't bad enough to upset me. A little below average, I'd say. More importantly, every dish that came out wasn't just strongly flavored—it was salty! I don't know if it's to get people to order alcohol, but everything was salty. The okonomiyaki and modanyaki tasted of nothing but strong sauce. I've eaten at flour-based food places from old downtown Tokyo to Kansai, Hiroshima, and street stalls, but this made me wonder what kind of sense of taste they have. The other customers were super loud too. It's close to home, but I won't go a 2nd time. The fairly decent rating on Tabelog is just ??? to me. It filled me up, but the value for money wasn't good either.
View on GoogleThe restaurant is on basement floor 1 of a building, a 3-minute walk from exit A5 of 神保町駅 subway station. There is no elevator. Inside, there are counter and table seats. Having counter seating makes it easier to come in alone. You order directly with the staff. I visited at lunchtime and ordered the specially prepared beef curry cheese yakisoba. Since I sat at the counter, I could watch the owner cook right in front of me. This yakisoba went so well with curry! I learned that this combination existed. It had a strong flavor, with the cheese nicely coating the yakisoba and curry. The chunky meat also had a real presence. It had a depth of flavor I couldn't make at home. It was delicious. This depends on personal perception and hunger, but although it should have been 1 serving of yakisoba, the portion felt a little small. PayPay was accepted for payment. Thanks for the meal.
