If you want to avoid the weird tourist traps swarming Tokyo, come here. This is a truly authentic okonomiyaki restaurant. You won't find any meaningless theatrical performances or bizarre dishes that Japanese locals would never eat. Instead, a master chef prepares the food with incredible skill, making the taste absolutely exceptional. They provide an English menu, so not speaking Japanese isn't an issue. However, please remember that this is an establishment loved by locals. Guests are expected to be respectful, observe basic manners, and appreciate the meal properly. Highly recommended for those seeking a genuine experience.
View on GoogleMet my friends visiting from S. Korea for lunch on January 19, 2026. We arrived there around 1:45 pm so it wasn’t crowded. Their daily specials were all gone since we arrived there towards the end of their lunch hours. Ordered three items (two okonomiyaki and yakisoba), plus our drinks (beer and lemon sour), using their QR code. Our orders came before too long, and we enjoyed the food and drinks. The staff were friendly and checked on us a few times.
View on GoogleSat at the bar table, cooked it right in front of the table. The okonomiyaki was alright, very hot.
View on GoogleWe came for dinner, it was very busy and a long queue, but moved along at a decent pace. I wanted to show my Wife this style of Japanese food which I enjoyed when I worked in Hiroshima. It was pretty good and we ate too much!!!
View on GoogleHad been looking forward to trying an okonomiyaki when I visited Japan and figured I'd wait until I got to Osaka however thanks to google and some degree of determination I discovered this place. It's at basement level as such I wasted valuable time going up and down the street looking for it. It was certainly worth the effort. The okonomiyaki was delicious, the atmosphere very Japanese which as a westerner only four days into my Japan trip and speaking only the most basic of Japanese came with some level of trepidation. Eating it with chopsticks took some skill but the more time spent in Japan the more you become adept at these things. I'm sure it won't be the last okonomiyaki I have while I'm here.
