Exactly what we were looking for after a long flight. Not fancy, but clean (of course, it’s Japan) and well run. They had English menus and we sat at the bar watching them make everything. Almost like teppanyaki. Such a good vibe and great prices. I wouldn’t travel to this hood for it, but if you’re staying at the hotel down the street it is a must!

I had seen this okonomiyaki restaurant last time I stayed in a hotel nearby and was interested. Even though I’ll be in Osaka in a few days I was craving okonomiyaki. Nice, low key place, friendly staff and good food.

Food was excellent, but we were unexpectedly charged a table charge of ¥600 each. Wasn’t mentioned anywhere on the menu or when we sat down. We were given no ‘free’ appetiser and each person had a meal and a drink. It significantly increased the price of the meal and when we asked about it were told “it’s just what we do”.

Me and my friend came from America and were thrilled. The vibe, the food, spectacular.

Great place. Superb food and service. Very friendly. If staying nearby, highly recommended. Sit at the bar!
