The counter seats form a U, with a little under 15 seats, and there were also 2 tables at the back. The restaurant has a fairly stylish atmosphere. I went in after 18:00 purely to eat, but it seemed mainly focused on drinks. Still, there appear to be some kamameshi dishes you can only eat here. They said the kamameshi takes 2,30 minutes to serve… I unexpectedly ended up passing the time drinking. The appetizer charge is noted at the storefront; this time it was negi chashu, which was delicious. The taro potato salad I ordered alongside it was fragrant, with the iburigakko coming through. I had the sea bream and ikura kamameshi, which was delicious too. It felt like they served the food very thoughtfully, and it was really nice.

I had the 「ネギトロ温玉釜めし定食」, where tradition meets modernity. In the familiar 益子焼 pottery bowl, warm rice, melting negitoro, and a rich onsen egg come together in a luxurious dish. With each bite, the comforting deliciousness of dashi-infused rice blends with the sweetness of the negitoro's fat and the richness of the egg, spreading a blissful flavor. It's the joy of enjoying something “freshly cooked,” as only a restaurant can offer, beyond the bounds of an ekiben.
