Amazing curry rice; morisoba is kinda salty, but still great. Food: Excellent Value for Money: Excellent Ambiance: Excellent Service: Good OVERALL: 9.1/10 May 2026
View on GoogleUnlike other Taishoken locations, this branch makes their own version of a keema curry. I guess because they are in Jimbocho? I tried their supermarket version before at home and was curious what the shop version tasted like since it's kind of a unique presentation, where various dry spices surround the plate like a moat, and a raw egg yolk sits on top. Taste is pretty good, unfortunately the portion is really small for the ¥1500 price tag, and there is too much rice compared to the amount of curry.
