Visited for a weekday lunch. The daily set was hamburg steak, and there was only one left. It came with sashimi and cold brew coffee for 1,600 yen. The hamburg steak had a gentle flavor, it came with small side dishes, and the clear soup had a nice dashi flavor and was delicious. I was able to enjoy a relaxed lunch.

The Japanese-style storefront is lovely The staff are efficient and kind There are 3 tables for four and about 6 counter seats, so depending on the time it seems you may have to wait I had the unaju; the Kanto-style sauce was light and not sweet, and the eel was very fluffy and tender—I was satisfied Personally, as someone from Kansai, I like it on the sweeter side, but this was refreshing and delicious The simmered hijiki and pickles were nice accents too The dessert and cold brew coffee were also delicious

I used a shareholder benefit voucher and ordered the unaju lunch set. Maybe because the voucher's expiration date was near, it was crowded even after 1 o'clock. There are chairs for 2 in front of the shop, and at first I waited my turn outside. The 1st floor is Kosuzu, with 3 tables and 7 counter seats—quite cozy. The 2nd floor is Toki no Niwa Bekkan, an affiliated restaurant. The eel was from China, and it wasn't big enough to fully cover the box. The sauce was sweet and thick, but it was seasoned to my liking. They had an unusual complimentary cold brew coffee. Looking at the menu, I could tell it's an easy place to visit with reasonable prices.

I had lunch on a weekday in mid-April 2024. I arrived around 1:30 p.m., so I was seated right away without waiting, and the food came out smoothly. I had the daily set, and it was very delicious. The grilled fish and other dishes weren't too salty, so I could enjoy the natural flavor of the ingredients. I also recommend it to anyone watching their salt intake. The interior was clean, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. The chopstick wrapper said "Toki no Niwa," which made sense.

The eel is cheap for its quality. I feel like the amount of eel decreases every year, but unaju (half eel) for 2200 yen including tax is cheap! And it even comes with cold brew coffee and a slice of roll cake.
