Looking through the menu, for both cuisines you can order main dishes (pad thai, gai yang, Indian curry) and à la carte items. Thai suki requires a reservation (minimum 2 people). It says the basmati rice is served freshly cooked. The menu has no food photos, so the downside is that people unfamiliar with the food will find it hard to order. (Menu image included) The second floor has tables that are good for groups too, with an open atrium. 【If you go for curry】 Since South India is a rice-eating region, there were 3 kinds of rice for the curry. If you don't pick rice, your option is 『dosa』. ※The curries on the menu change weekly, and you choose from two. There was no mutton that day. (T . T) There were also curries with unfamiliar names. 【What I ordered…】 ① Curry: since there was no mutton curry, chicken stew (a stew-style curry from Kerala state) and tomato rice. Tomato rice fragrant with tang and spices ② À la carte: kai chao (Thai omelet) Even for individual dishes, ratings come down to personal taste, so please check for yourself. ・Chicken stew (★3.0/5) On the light side, without much spice coming through. It's packed with big pieces of chicken. The flavor had soaked all the way into the meat. A non-thick type. People who like bold flavors might not rate it highly. ・Tomato rice fragrant with tang and spices (2.5/5★) I couldn't taste much tang, and couldn't make out the spice either. The rice seems to be basmati, but it was less satisfying than I expected. Basmati is normally eaten mixed with the other dishes, so I poured the stew over it. ※ I've never been to India so I don't know, but is this what tomato rice is like there? ・Kai chao, Thai omelet (4.5/5★) It came out first, before the stew. Among so many thin omelets out there, the volume, the color with the fillings, and the aroma were a hit! When I cut into it, it was fluffy, with an excellent airy texture. This is a great flavor to go with drinks too. A must-eat. Photo included Finally I can't judge from just one visit, but what I sense, including from other West Indian-style places, is that maybe a lot of it is lightly flavored. There are also quite a few sour dishes. There really are all kinds of food cultures. The lunch menu was posted outside (image included), and that's something I'd like to check out.
