And the counter pushes seating over 40. Not a big place, but it doesn't feel crowded because of the way it's laid out. Atmosphere is more of a cross between izakaya and Indian rather than to the Nepali side. Friendly server turned out to be Nepali anyway. BGM was Pritam Chakraborty Panwadi singing his "Best Wedding Dance Song" in a language I don't know, probably Hindi. They have their own Wi-Fi, but there's also a strong public USEN signal, which usually works well. I had the keema egg curry at a strong spice level. Quite good, but it was also good that the naan was substantial enough to handle it. Sweet naan and slightly unevenly cooked, though that mostly reflects on ordering early, before the oven is settled down. It was unusually good, using their own dressing.

I’ve been enjoying lunch at Mother India since 2023, when I used to visit the Azabujuban branch regularly. After moving to Kioicho, I was happy to find this branch as well. I have lunch here almost every day, and I’ve really enjoyed the food and service so far. Highly recommended! My fav Biryani 😊

A great authentic Indian restaurant! I had a full salad, which was extremely fresh, and a dish of chicken tikka masala. It was so delicious! People are friendly, atmosphere beautiful, and they offer fantastic food! It will be my favorite place to come whenever I visit Tokyo. I came back again. This time I added a Tandoori Swordfish Tikka. I never thought I could have fresh fish in an Indian restaurant. It was super fresh and delicious! Heartily recommend.

I’d give it a 4.5 if I could. Just happened to stumble into this place when in the area and enjoyed the experience. The decor was nice with both table and counter seating, as well as some Indian items to buy. I went with the two curry set that came with rice, salad, chicken, meat, and naan for around 2500 yen. The dal bhat was delicious as was the egg keema curry. Everything else was good too, especially the naan. Service was friendly. Worth checking out if you’re in the area.
