Mochizuki Curry's original Indian-style curry with reduced oil and spiciness aims to be exactly halfway between Indian curry and Japanese curry, combining Indian spice blends with Japanese cooking for a familiar and easy-to-eat taste. All curries are made in the shop one by one from the spice blend. There is also a takeout menu.

It was Friday the 13th at about 8 pm when we decided to pay this cute restaurant a visit. It was off the main drag in Akihabara so was not overflowing with patrons. In fact, it was just us. It is one of those restaurants that is cash only and you pay via those machines and you get a ticket for each item. We got 3 entrees (two of them large) and 2 mango lassis for 3200 yen. The chef was very efficient and nice. Our meal was hot and the serving size generous. It is worth a visit if you like Japanese curry.
View on GoogleDelicious, aromatic, cute aesthetic, home made pickles, warm and inviting, good price. My destination nearby was closed after lunch so ended up here by lucky accident for late lunch.
View on GoogleI love spice & can eat spicier food than most but the spicy here is too much even for their regular spicy option. No forks just spoons.
View on GooglePork and chicken curry were both delicious, very nice and clean interior, English menu and English order screen available. Affordable prices.
View on GoogleAmazing curry for a really good price, everything is translated very well for foreigners like me to understand easily. Ordering is done through an automated machine and a ticket system. Took me a minute to understand it but afterwards it was really easy to order another portion for takeout. Personnel was really friendly and helpful even though I speak very little Japanese. If I lived here I'd come very often!
