A really nice atmospheric cafe with retro vibes, and jazz / classical music playing on records in the background. Not sure about the other review criticizing the service, it was just fine for me and I'm a foreigner. They offered me an English menu when I was clearly trying to translate the menu on my phone, and were attentive when asked for help. I had a nice mocha coffee and cheesecake, and sat and enjoyed the nostalgia of the place and others having enjoyable conversations. See photos I took.

The dark roast coffee here was a masterclass in the kissaten style. Served in a delicate Wild Strawberry patterned Wedgwood cup, the coffee was strikingly bold. It carried a distinct smoky aroma and a deep, velvety bitterness. There was almost no acidity, making it an incredibly smooth, heavy cup of coffee that demanded me slow down and savor every sip. The tiramisu was the perfect companion to such a robust coffee. It’s served in a simple glass, showcasing beautiful layers of mascarpone cream and espresso-soaked sponge. The top was generously dusted with dark cocoa powder, providing an earthy bridge between the sweetness of the cream and the bitterness of the dark roast. What made it stand out was that the yogurt layer which provided refreshing sweet/sour flavor😍

I ordered the Cafe Wiener which is uncommon in other cafe. The place is really nice to having a conversation with a friend and/or just drinking coffee while reading a book. The vibes also really nice. Reccomended to go alone or duo with your friend.

a must-go place if you're in the jinbocho area!! moody atmosphere and vibey music 🎶 great place to come alone or with a small group! had a late lunch around 2pm; easily got a seat, got more crowded as time passed (~3pm) the milonga pizza was phenomenal, came fresh and warm and filled with love! both coffee and tea were solid choices for drinks and the earl grey was really fragrant in the cake as well.

I've been told that this place has been around vor a very very long time and that they even relocated from an older building not far from where it is now. The atmosphere of the café definitely fits its actual age - the music playing in the background, the small figurines scattered around the shelves, the massive amount of vinyls that you sit across from while drinking your order. There are a lot of different drinks and a selection from sweets and cakes to choose from that taste quite well - it's quite simple but somehow fits the atmosphere of the café. The cocoa and earl grey tea pound cake I've had paired really well. Definitely a nice little café to relax with a book or a friend on a rainy day~
