One of the best ramen I have had in Tokyo as someone who has lived here for 1.5 years. The soup is concentrated and has a full flavor with a sweet aftertaste. The noodles are decent thickness, the egg is perfectly jammy and the spinach paired really well with the noodles and the soup. The char shiu is where this place loses one star for me. I would like to believe that today was less good than usual but I will express my opinion nevertheless. The meat is quite firm and does not seperate easily. I have never seen a char shiu like this in a ramen. It was edible, which is why 4 stars is deserved but it is a shame to such a beautiful soup. I finished all of the soup, something I rarely do after living in Japan. I hope to come again. I paid 1300 yen for this one, but there are less expensive options as well.

I visited this ramen place expecting a good experience, but the service was really disappointing. Interestingly, some of the staff appeared to be foreigners themselves, but that didn’t make the service any better. They were rude, unprofessional, and didn’t seem to care about the customers at all.

Very good shoyu ramen. If you’re in Jimbocho and want to grab a good ramen, go there!
