Excellent ramen, rich in taste. Just come outside the lunch hours, otherwise the pressure of finishing your meal might stand in the way of enjoying it. :D Greetings from Denmark

After a stroll to see the illuminations at Chidorigafuchi, I stopped by this ramen shop on the way for dinner; it's an affordable, good-value local ramen shop. The shop isn't big, mostly counter seating, with a clean and simple setting and the warm atmosphere of a typical Japanese ramen shop, so you'll feel at ease even dining alone. This time I tried the tonkotsu gyokai ramen. The broth blends the richness of pork bone with the sweet savoriness of fish and seafood; it's rich in flavor but not overly heavy. The chashu was tender and well-seasoned, the soft-boiled egg was cooked just right, and with nori, menma, and shredded green onion, every bite showed the layering and balance of the ingredients. Overall, it was very consistent. The shop also features tsukemen, which you can tell is a popular item from the sign at the entrance; those who like strong flavors or chewy noodles may want to give it a try. While I was eating, quite a few customers kept coming in, so you can tell it's a place visited by both nearby residents and tourists. If you're planning a stroll and some sightseeing at Chidorigafuchi or Kitanomaru Park, why not stop by for a steaming bowl of ramen. In terms of food quality, portion size, and overall performance, it's a good-value ramen shop worth revisiting.
