A buddy of mine recommend this place as it’s one of his favorite Chinese food places in the area. They have several locations across Tokyo. Everything I ordered was tasty, and some of the highlights were the chicken and the spicy fried pork. The soupless noodles were also good as were the gyoza. But my favorite things was the cauliflower dish…it was fanatic. It’s a cozy space and the service was fast and friendly.
View on GoogleOrdered a Yibin Burning Noodles lunch set with chicken in chili oil. Spicy enough but a bit salty. The chicken was smooth and tender.
View on GoogleThe 口水鱼 was exactly what I needed, a wonderful synergy between numbing, spice, and salty flavors. Perfect birthday lunch, especially with the milky annin tofu dessert.
View on GooglePros: The food is very spicy and delicious. Cons: - I could see the cook tasting the broth right away from the ladle, then returning it to the pot. But I guess that’s what makes the good taste. Lol. -Although they said it’s a non smoking place, the cook was smoking there.
View on GoogleWandered in after seeing it bustling. We were welcomed warmly by the downstairs waitress who asked us to take a table upstairs. The upstairs waitress was short with us as soon as we got to the second floor. Despite being extremely friendly with the other guests, she was curt and rude to us. Probably because we didn’t speak perfect Japanese, but honestly who knows. Nobody should be treated so rudely for any reason so we left. If you are a foreigner, try and sit downstairs only with the friendly lady. Or better yet, go to one of the many nice restaurants nearby instead.
