⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ While exploring Akihabara, I stumbled across LIVE COFFEE and decided to stop in for a cappuccino. It turned out to be a fantastic little find! The coffee was smooth, creamy, and made with obvious care. It was the perfect place to escape the busy streets for a few minutes and recharge before continuing to explore. Friendly service, a relaxed atmosphere, and excellent coffee—I’ll definitely make this one of my regular stops whenever I visit Tokyo again.
View on GoogleGreat little coffee shop with very affordable coffee/drinks. Probably the best value for money coffee I had in Japan, with most cafes charging upwards of 650 to 700 yen for a simple drip coffee. Decent amount of seating as well!
View on GoogleThis coffee shop experience was quite underwhelming. The espresso was poorly executed, with a complete absence of latte art and a taste that was genuinely disappointing. Furthermore, the staff's demeanor was far from friendly or helpful, offering no guidance even though it was my first visit. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.
View on GoogleHad a latte. No latte art. Tasted watery. No food or baked goods. Some packaged snacks like peanuts and cookies though. Perhaps they are geared for pour-overs, but alas, I only worship espresso drinks. Lady was polite though.
View on GoogleA very simple cafe in a residential part of Akiba, that serves a collection of classic coffee drinks. Seating is comfortable, but limited. Staff was super helpful in helping me navigate the menu as a non Japanese speaker. There’s a great selection of coffee from various regions for anyone a little more serious about their coffee choices, a nice surprise for such a unassuming little cafe.
