A nice place to have a business lunch. The menu is a little more expensive, around ¥1700, but if you are after a nice quiet place to talk over lunch, this is the place. The menu seems to change a little bit, as I've had the opportunity to try several different fish at lunchtime. Lunch comes with a complimentary coffee, but if you want tea, it's ¥300 extra, which I thought was a little strange. The service is very formal, which could be expected as it is attached to the hotel.

Visited for our company's year-end party. Being inside a hotel, it has a luxurious interior, and there's also a large banquet room, making it versatile. A reliable choice for dates, business meals, and banquets. We had the Emerald Course(1万円). The seasoning was refined throughout, and every dish really showcased the quality of its ingredients. Impressive, as expected. The overall portion size felt a little insufficient for men. Everything was served in individual portions, which made it very easy to eat. 〜Individually plated appetizers〜 The crunchy, springy texture of the jellyfish was memorable. An elegant plate overall that showcased the quality of the ingredients. 〜Shark fin soup with crab roe〜 A luxurious, thick soup with rich crab umami. 〜Peking duck〜 The wrapper was chewy. The sesame sauce was fragrant and delicious. 〜Stir-fried shrimp and today's vegetables〜 Vibrantly colored with a glossy finish. The flavor was refined, with the plump shrimp taking center stage. 〜Mildly spicy beef fillet stir-fry with fermented black beans(豆鼓)〜 A stir-fry of meat and mushrooms. Slightly spicy, with tender meat that was easy to bite through. 〜Steamed white fish with special fish sauce〜 The white fish was fluffy and delicately flavored. 〜Zha cai〜 A pleasant texture and a good palate refresher. 〜Fried rice〜 The grains were separate, with a nice texture that retained a little firmness in the center. Not oily, and the seasoning was ◎ too. 〜Today's dessert〜 Annin tofu.

I had the gomoku tsuyu soba. They accepted my request for firm noodles. (Though being asked how the firmness was while I was eating threw me off a little, haha.) The very thin, flavorful noodles aren't the type that stand out through texture. Even ordered firm, they had a reasonable springiness but no sharp definition or crisp bite. In a good sense, they seem designed to blend seamlessly with the refined soup. The soup seemed soy sauce-based, yet its refined lightness also suggested a salt base. It was exceptionally delicious, intricate, and complex, though. I got the impression that the stock was made with various premium ingredients such as chicken, pork, and scallop adductor muscles. This might be the first time I've finished every drop of the soup in gomoku tsuyu soba. For my personal taste, I'd like to try this tsuyu soba with straight, very thin noodles with a crisp, clearly defined bite.

Visited for lunch on a weekday. The atmosphere was pleasant and calm, and we got in without waiting. The clientele tended to be older, so we enjoyed our meal in a quiet space. There were company welcome lunches, businesspeople on work trips, elderly couples, and the like. There were several lunch options to choose from, which was satisfying. Unlike other places, even lunch costs over 1000円, but I think it's worth it. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back for dinner.

This time, I visited ”金剛飯店 (コンゴウハンテン)”, a restaurant serving authentic traditional Chinese Cantonese cuisine (upscale Chinese food) inside the Diamond Hotel in Hanzomon. It's a lovely place to enjoy luxurious Chinese cuisine in an elegant, tranquil interior. Here, you can enjoy authentic Cantonese and modern Chinese cuisine prepared by a head chef who has won numerous awards. Every dish was exquisite, the portions were just right, and the flavors were a level above. The ramen with a large shark fin was particularly delicious, generously featuring a thick, substantial shark fin. Including the flavor of the soup, it was outstanding. Premium ingredients were used generously, and together with the atmosphere, they made for a luxurious experience. A Chinese restaurant I'd definitely love to casually visit again!
