I liked this cafe and it’s been on my list for a while. It’s open until 10pm which is nice. It’s certainly an old school cafe, with a small, cozy vibe. Smoking is allowed, so know that going in. The pour over was excellent, and the cheesecake was good. Service was fast and friendly. An excellent place to stop by for a coffee and stay a spell.

Retro atmosphere - tiny, smoky, dimly-lit below-ground coffeeshop with dark furnishings and classical music playing in the background. Really good, prompt service. Coffee was not bad - then again I'm not a coffee connoisseur so I can't say how good the brew was, just that I didn't hate it. It's a good place to unwind if you don't mind the smell if cigarettes.

This is a delicious coffee shop whose atmosphere has not changed since my student days several decades ago. The blend coffee and cake set is reasonably priced too. It is also pleasing that the cup and cake plate match. The staff's service is as polite as ever, allowing you to spend a peaceful time. The cigarette smell inside has started to feel a little strong, probably because my everyday surroundings are now almost entirely non-smoking. Even so, it has a lovely atmosphere that makes me want to visit again.
