笠岡ラーメンKasaoka Ramen Ichigendo Jimbocho
A mature-hen ramen shop women will love too, perfect for dates✨ Kasaoka ramen is ramen made with lots of chicken🍜 Both the chashu and the broth use mature hens, rich in umami, rather than young chickens. Unlike young chickens, mature hens are known for their "powerful, deep chicken umami", and the mature-hen chashu isn't soft but firm and springy — a robust bite that releases more flavor the more you chew. Please come experience this texture and umami, a first for many people, at Kasaoka Ramen Ichigendo!

Tried Kasaoka ramen here for the first time and it was such a comforting experience. The broth was light yet full of flavor. The chicken toppings were simple but really well prepared, and everything felt balanced and authentic.
View on GoogleCheap! Otherwise an authentic experience I guess, semi-helpful service (we were a bit lost with the vending machine as non-Japanese speaking people), but the chicken in both the ramen and the rice bowl was absolutely awful. The worst chicken on my Japan trip so far. The noodles were good, the egg & broth were meh, and the chicken again the worst chewy bits ever.
View on GoogleAmazing place! The spy sauce ramen was rich but left the mouth clean, right side portion the broth was astonishing. Udon soba was really good with the right amount of saltiness. Cheap prices: 890 for each plate, the automatic machine made easy order everything.
View on GoogleNot my thing. The restaurant smells funny and is sticky. The chicken is hard and sinewy. Unpleasant music.
View on GooglePretty stylish ramen restaurant. They have free raw eggs on the table for you to add to your rice. The flavor was good, but the meat in the chicken had tons of cartilage and was tough to chew.
