Greetings. The 200-year-old zelkova tree, standing tall like a warrior, has begun to change color, and as we continue to enjoy the patronage of many customers this year, the season has come for us to welcome our 135th winter since our founding. Having reopened last October after an unexpected fire, we have been visited by even more customers than before, and the open atmosphere of our new building surrounded by greenery has been well received. When we first reopened, we caused inconvenience such as long waits, but together with increased staffing we are now able to operate more smoothly, and from October this year the private rooms on the 2nd floor are also available for exclusive booking. As before, the new restaurant is entirely non-smoking, but smoking areas have been set up on both the 1st and 2nd floors, so smoking is now possible inside the restaurant. Also, anyone…

A good, traditional place ideal for some soba noodles. Good value for money, friendly staff and a very calm, cozy and calming atmosphere. Randomly stumbled upon after an afternoon in Akihabara.

Fantastic recommendation by a friend back home - my first time having eel soba paired with hot miso sake. What a happy, happy meal (paired with lots of laughter and giggles from the high of the alcohol)

The food was quite good and was something I'd never eaten before. Was served fresh and they even bring you a teapot so you can dilute the soup and drink it up. Service was really good and they were on the ball. A bit of a language barrier but we were able to navigate quite easily since the menu has pictures. Atmosphere is quite good but seats are too low for taller people. You can even sit on the floor in the dedicated area if you want though.

A great and semi-affordable Soba lunch in a very traditional setting. I loved the entryway, but the inside of the restaurant felt more like your average 80’s style eating court. The staff is super friendly and the English menu was instructive on the hows and whats of dipping soba. The food itself was nice! I had the season special set of soba and grilled duck. The duck meat was a bit underseasoned but the soba was really well prepared. The price was maybe a bit much for this type of lunch but I’d still recommend it!
