Ordered the chicken lunch set, my partner got the gyoza lunch set, both were delicious, recommend the side sauce.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant with mainland-style flavors. There were photos of Taiwanese tourist spots and such inside, so I assumed the people running it were from there too, but when I asked at checkout, they were from country C. ■Super karaage don 950円 Comes with egg-drop soup with a noticeable dashi flavor. Quite a sight!! I started counting the pieces but gave up halfway...(lol) I think there were about 13 or 14. Piping hot, crispy coating, tender chicken thigh. It's seasoned beforehand, so it's plenty tasty on its own~. The rice is relatively modest compared with the amount of karaage. About right for me, with a little finely shredded nori. It also comes with ponzu soy sauce and mayonnaise, so you can finish it without getting bored. A chicken karaage rice bowl with a tender texture and loads of volume!! It was delicious~.
View on GoogleA Chinese restaurant in front of the Yoshimoto theater, one street off Suzuran-dori. The aptly named Jimbocho Gyoza was delicious. I liked the chewy wrappers and slightly sweet filling. I wished the stir-fried greens were a little saltier, and found it unusual that they used no garlic.
View on GoogleI was looking for somewhere to eat gyoza and visited because they had many varieties. It's down a street on the right as you walk along Suzuran-dori, directly opposite the Yoshimoto theater. The gyoza, pan-fried xiaolongbao, and such were delicious. The fried rice was lightly seasoned and not to my taste, but I'd visit again if I get the chance.
View on GoogleI stopped by for lunch on a weekday and had the pork kimchi lunch set. At 800円 for this, I have no complaints. I was satisfied.
