2026.7 🗺️🔍 About a 1 minutes on foot from A4 exit of Jinbocho station. 👥Arrived around 4:00 PM on weekday. Not so crowded. 🍚 Tenshin Fried Rice ¥1,090 The fried rice has a nice, lightly fluffy texture, and when combined with the sweet-and-sour sauce, it’s absolutely addictive. The portion is a bit on the small side, so it may not be quite enough if you order it on its own. 📝Inside the restaurant, there are photos displayed from TV interviews and media coverage. They offer a wide variety of fried rice dishes, so I’d love to come back and try some of the others.
View on GoogleCame here for dinner on a public holiday. Luckily when everything closed on the street. This restaurant still open! Ordered the Mapo tofu fried rice, house special fried rice and pork dumplings. I think the Mapo tofu fired rice is quite special. You don’t usually get a dish like that in HK. Because Mapo tofu is already a dish and usually serve with white rice. The Mapo tofu is so so. Not the best kind of mapo tofu. Not spicy and lack of the spices that make your tongue feel numb. Special fried rice is okay too. The fried rice all have a same problem is too wet and had too much moisture. Some said it’s a Japanese fried rice things. But I had much better fried rice in Japan. So I would say the fried rice here is not the best. Pork fried dumpling is great. Very hot and very crispy. The filling is flavourful and go well with soy sauce and hot sauce. Nice
View on GoogleMy friends enjoyed their meal but the gomoku fried rice I got was mediocre. However, the prices are very reasonable for large sizes and it’s one of the only stores that are open on a Sunday night in the area. There’s one container of water that’s used for all tables which is a little disappointing. As we saw a credit card machine, we tried to pay by card, but the waiter said we couldn’t and we were only able to pay with cash. (This could be because they already closed their credit card machine??)
View on GoogleI tried so many Chinese restaurant, this is the worst Chinese foods in Japan 1st time I tried cold white rice with mapo tofu. The chef doesn't know cold foods mixed with hot food can cause food poisoning Menu stated 1100yen It turned out to be 1300yen😂
View on GoogleI visited "ICHI," a fried rice specialty restaurant in Jinbocho! Absolutely delicious! Classic, perfectly fluffy fried rice! First, I tried the restaurant's signature dish, the fried rice. The moment it arrived, a fragrant aroma filled the air, whetting my appetite. Each grain of rice stood perfectly, achieving the ideal fluffy texture! The balance of ingredients—egg, green onions, and chopped char siu—was exquisite, resulting in a simple yet robust flavor. The small piece of naruto (fish cake) on top added a nostalgic touch, evoking the atmosphere of a classic neighborhood Chinese restaurant—making it visually appealing as well. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside: dumplings! A must-try side dish is these pan-fried dumplings. The beautifully golden-brown skin was crispy and fragrant on the outside, with a chewy texture inside. With each bite, the juicy meat filling burst forth. It pairs perfectly with fried rice, and I think it's also a fantastic snack to go with beer! Beer goes down easily! Spicy Drooling Chicken! And another dish I ordered as a snack to go with my drinks was Drooling Chicken. The steamed chicken is moist and tender, and generously covered in a bright red, special chili oil sauce. It's topped with plenty of green onions and crushed nuts, and the crunchy texture is irresistible. When you mix it all together with the bean sprouts underneath using tongs, the spicy kick and deep, rich flavor spread throughout your mouth, and you won't be able to stop eating. Although it's called a "fried rice specialty shop," the quality of the à la carte dishes is also very high. It's the perfect place whether you want a hearty meal or just want to sit down and enjoy some Chinese food with a beer. If you're craving delicious fried rice or Chinese food around Jimbocho, I definitely recommend this place! I will definitely be back.
