I took a half-day Tokyo tour arranged through the Hato Bus Tokyo office, and it was a very smooth way to see a few important sights without having to plan everything myself. The stop at Government House was interesting, and the visit to Yasukuni Temple gave the day a more reflective side. It felt like a good balance of sightseeing and history.

Had a wonderful experience with Hato bus. Ticket staff were very helpful with a sudden cancellation today and got a refund. Thanks. We were on the 6:00 pm tour bus from Tokyo today. Female staff was great and the driver navigated Tokyo traffic like a Pro. SkyTree was the best part. Highly recommend Hato Bus. You can also do English guided tour via smartphone.

I did the one-day Tokyo Dynamic Tour, and it was such an amazing experience! Mina was our tour guide, and she was incredibly kind, helpful, and patient. She was always smiling, and you could really tell how passionate she is about the work she does. She shared so many interesting stories and facts about Tokyo and took us to all the main spots. She was also incredibly patient and took the time to answer all of our questions, which I really appreciated. The tour itself was absolutely fantastic. My favourite places we visited were Asakusa and Tokyo Tower! However, what really surprised me was the five-star buffet lunch we had at the hotel. The food was absolutely delicious, and there was such a huge variety of options. It was definitely an unexpected highlight of the tour! I’m so happy that I chose to do this tour with your company. The bus driver (I’m sorry, I forgot his name!) was also incredibly kind and was such a safe driver. Everything about the tour was absolutely amazing, from the itinerary to the guide and transportation. Oh, and I absolutely loved the matcha making class!! We got to make real matcha and drink it!! Another huge highlight was the cruise!! That was absolutely amazing!!! If I visit Tokyo again, I will definitely book another tour with your company, and hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to have Mina as my tour guide again! Thank you so much for showing us Tokyo and making the experience so memorable!

Our afternoon tour was a full 4 hours and included stops at the Imperial Palace, Asakusa Temple and Tokyo Tower, with ample time at each. The bus was very comfortable, the guide was excellent and the stops were interesting. The tour was also timed so we were in the observation deck before, during and after sunset and had a clear view of Mt Fuji.

The GPS audio guide did not function during the entire Hato Bus tour, making it impossible to follow the content. Despite this being a key feature for non-Japanese speakers, the company refused any compensation, stating it is a “complimentary service.” This significantly reduced the value of the tour. I would not recommend this tour to international visitors. Without the audio guide, this is not really a tour—just a bus ride. I also noticed that other international visitors have reported similar issues with the audio guide. Despite this, there appears to be no meaningful effort to improve or address the problem. This raises serious concerns about the reliability of the service being offered.
