We stumbled into this restaurant for lunch. We had a daily special of fried oyster and shrimp set, it was really nice. Thank you to the friendly staff for the excellent service!
View on GoogleI was in the mood for udon. I promptly arrived at my favorite, Hanabi, only to find it closed! What! Why! Apparently the building was being demolished! There was a notice saying "Hanabi Higashi-Kanda Hanare" was operating very close by, so I headed over. It was along the same street. Apparently "Izakaya Musashino" used to be here. I went inside expecting to eat udon, but the atmosphere was different. They only had set meals. That was different from the impression given by the closure notice! I thought I would still be able to eat udon. With no other choice, I ordered the daily special for 980 yen. Something sparkling from the male staff member's mouth landed on my face. Wear a mask! Before 12, the daily negitoro bowl had sold out and switched to a whitebait bowl. It tasted quite good. But somehow it felt a little sad. A customer at the next table ordered a grilled fish set? Looking at it, there was such a cute, tiny grilled fish. I question the restaurant's judgment in serving such a cute, tiny grilled fish without thinking anything of it. It would be one thing if there were 2 of them. Personally, this was a place I would not visit again.
View on GoogleWeekly lunch special 1050円, large portions free We do not offer all-you-can-eat udon. This is lunch at an izakaya. The interior is spacious and lively, which is nice. I'm curious about the evening service too, so I'd like to come back.
View on GoogleI visited for lunch on a weekday. There are plenty of lunch options, including weekly and daily specials, sashimi sets, and hokke sets. That day's weekly special (¥1,050 was a maguro and negitoro rice bowl, and sanzokuyaki. There aren't many set-meal restaurants around here, so it filled up quickly.
View on GoogleThere are lots of seats and turnover is quick, which is handy at lunchtime😋 The menu is also varied enough that I never get bored, so it's a useful place to have around😃
