If the grandma takes you outside, she is NOT kicking you out, she is trying to make sure you know it's a sushi place by showing the picture of sushi they have outside. Make sure to ask without Wasabi ("Wasabi nashi" should be enough) if you don't want it. It comes by default. They don't have a proper English menu YET, just a paper with a list of the fish types. They do not speak English but are very welcoming and friendly to Foreigners. The price is quite cheap, me and my husband ate a lot (mainly salmon and omelet things) + some strong alcohol and paid abou 4000 yen. It's a cash only place, and as far as I've seen there is no receipt.

I turned up based on the reviews. I didn't find they had any English menu as an FYI. Communication was difficult, but I got feed, despite not ordering 😁. I was given a board of various sushi, with some soup and pickles. It was hard to rate the sushi, because I forgot to ask for no wasabi and I hate wasabi, that it really did ruin the meal for me, as it was on every piece. The fish texture was good. Not the best I had in Japan, but OK. All up 1200yen. Can't complain. It was quiet when I went about 9pm on a Tuesday night.

Delicious sushi and you get a miso soup, green tea and another starter that we couldn’t quite figure out. We ordered by pointing at the menu. Overall, excellent experience.

I was working nearby and went to this sushi place for lunch. I paid 900 yen and it was delicious, almost no people at 12:30.

Value for money and authentic sushi! Staff did not speak English but English menu is available and staff are very friendly 🙂 a local spot for sure!
