One of the tastiest meals I've had on this Tokyo trip. They have large tables only so expect to share a table. Be aware of the lunch rush when the local workers pour in. English menus available.
View on GoogleCracking good place, food was delicious and fresh, served quickly and attentively, had the pork fried noodles, gyoza, chicken karage, fried beef and chicken fried rice. Portions are enormous, you can get away with ordering two dishes for three people if you are not hungry and it's great if you are on a budget. They also have this cat at the front door which I absolutely love.
View on GoogleIt’s a busy Chinese restaurant in Akihabara. It’s located in the basement of an old building and the store is packed with people. It’s famous for the beef tendon fried rice which only served during the weekend. Its tender and matches well with the simple fried rice. They will ask you to sit down with other people on the same table to save the space so avoid going if you are uncomfortable with that.

View on GoogleAmerican point of view here. This place has some great things and some bad things. Let’s start with the great. The food is astoundingly good. Super fresh and is everything you would want from a Chinese food place in Japan. Get the karage and gyoza. Secondly, the atmosphere is awesome. You’re in a dimly lit basement that is kinda cramped but it sets the mood perfectly for some reason. The bad: the guy who takes the money, who I assume is the owner, seems like he would burst into flames if he ever smiles, but he is smiling on the cover of the menu, so he used to know how to do it. Also, it’s cash only so keep that in mind. Lastly, you will sit with strangers so get comfy. Highly recommend if you’re looking for delicious Chinese food in the Akihabara area. Very very good. Give it a shot.
