Daily lunch at a relaxing Japanese-style coffee shop. Today's two choices were curry and tarako pasta! The curry was a simple curry with no pieces of ingredients, since they had dissolved into the sauce. With coffee jelly and an iced coffee after the meal, it was 900円. An elderly lady runs everything alone, so do visit when you have time for a leisurely lunch. My impression was that many customers came to chat leisurely or have a light meeting rather than for the taste. The interior is decorated with lots of cute ceramics and small items bought in the UK, so just looking at them seems worthwhile.
View on GoogleIt took a little courage to go in, but I visited because I heard it had lovely interior decor characteristic of 神田. It's a Japanese-style coffee shop with an older clientele, but somehow the conversation with the owner and customers became lively, and I ended up staying a long time. The interior is full of nostalgia: traditional Japanese umbrellas rarely seen these days, 神田祭 items, and miniature Japanese chests. The owner has put a lot of care into the space. I went for the curry with its ingredients dissolved into the sauce, but it wasn't available that day, so I had tarako spaghetti. It was full of gentle deliciousness, like eating at grandma's house. And my tea came with coffee jelly—excellent service. Unfortunately, since it only opens on weekdays, I can't visit very often, but it's a rare Japanese-style coffee shop I want to support.
