This cafe is quite small. If you have 5+ people, then I'd recommend splitting up or going elsewhere. I ordered the salted caramel and a strawberry cream soda. The hot cakes itself were very sweet and hard for 1 person to finish. The cream soda was delicious. I'd recommend sharing one of the sweeter dishes or ordering the plain cakes if you're by yourself. There's also a variety of coffee and matcha drinks. I think this is a great place to take cute photos, but the food is a bit too sweet.

My partner and I had an amazing experience at Flying Scotsman Cafe. The pancakes were absolutely delicious and very filling, and the service was fantastic from start to finish. What really stood out was how artistic everything looked, especially the pancakes. The creativity and presentation were so beautiful that you almost didn’t want to eat them! Everything about the place made for a great visit, easily a 10/10 all round. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great feed, stunning presentation, and top-notch service!

We had the Japanese fluffy pancakes and float drinks, and really enjoyed them. 🥞 The staff were friendly, and the café was spacious, quiet, and relaxing. A nice place to sit down, enjoy some sweets and drinks, and take a break.

Flying Scotsman is a nice dessert cafe in the heart of Akihabara. It’s located on the 3rd floor a few blocks from the JR station. It was about a ten minute wait on Tuesday afternoon. The staff seated me quickly and I went with their recommendation of dark chocolate pancakes. The popular soufflé pancakes were warm and fluffy covered with a mix of hot fudge, nama chocolate, chocolate ice cream, crushed almonds, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, and some whipped cream. It’s a large dessert that’s more than enough for two people. I also got an iced coffee and the meal was about 1,500 yen. If you’re got a sweet tooth and love pancakes then don’t miss out on Flying Scotsman.

The Flying Scotsman is a dessert cafe with a vide selection of fluffy pancakes and a small assortment of chiffon cakes. During our meal we had a chicken cutlet sandwich, shared a chiffon cake, and a fluffy pancake. All items were incredibly delicious! This restaurant mastered the art of making fluffy pancakes but ensuring that they do not taste too eggy. Additionally the chiffon cake was incredibly fluffy and light! This is a great place to visit if in the area.
