EXCELSIOR CAFFE 平河町森タワー店 EXCELSIOR CAFFE 平河町森タワー店 is on the 1st floor of 平河町森タワー☕ An easy café to drop into in the 永田町・赤坂見附 area, with a relaxing atmosphere despite being in a business district. The interior is relatively spacious, making it convenient for meetings, breaks between work, or light tasks. Since it opens in the morning, it's also handy for breakfast before work😊 The coffee selection focuses on espresso-based drinks, with classics such as café lattes and cappuccinos☕ The food menu is extensive too, and being able to enjoy light bites such as panini, sandwiches, and sweets alongside your drink is a nice point🥪✨ True to a business-district café, its appeal is the convenience of dropping in quickly. Around 永田町・赤坂見附, “I'd like a quick coffee” “I'd like a short break before a meeting” it's a convenient café for moments like those😊
View on GoogleI hadn't been to central Tokyo in a while, so I stopped by after lunch. It's on the building's 1F, and I went in because the spacious interior and atmosphere looked nice. I ordered a simple hot blend coffee. Coffee time after a meal somehow feels relaxing. The staff were pleasant, the interior was clean, and the greenery visible through the large glass windows made for a soothing break. It was my first visit to Excelsior Cafe, and it left me wanting to explore more of the menu.
View on Google2023.12.13 This Excelsior looked relaxing, so I went in for a leisurely lunch. But the sofa near the front was facing a strange direction, and when I straightened it, it sprang right back, so I had to heave the big sofa around. Whoever turned this seat to such a ridiculous angle should put it back before leaving. So it faces the table straight on. Or the staff should fix it. What am I talking about? Go there and you'll understand. So, instead of relaxing in that seat as planned, I moved elsewhere. Now I understand why everyone avoids it even when it's empty. The nearby Excelsior has pasta on the menu, so I thought this one would too, but nope. They only had rice dishes like beef stew and doria, and bread. There was some lobster something-or-other, and I'm allergic to lobster, so I only had 2 choices, and went with the beef stew. It's 950円, but it only filled me about 6.5 tenths of the way. Even though I've been eating less lately. I'd like it to fill even a woman like me at least 8 tenths of the way. About another 2 tenths more, at least. There were 2 pieces of meat, and microwaved broccoli that was scorching hot... (´ -ω-`) I wondered whether to add bread, but... And what if I ordered a drink too? But spending over 1500円 or nearly 2000円 on lunch at Excelsior... Ugh, no thanks. Such was winter 2023, an era of soaring prices. Is the other nearby Excelsior better suited to an ordinary person's lunch? Still, thank you for giving me water. And on 12/13, the ginkgo leaves were beautifully yellow and at their best.
View on GoogleBefore COVID, there was a Tully's here, but now it's an Excelsior. It's more spacious, brighter, and feels more open than the older Excelsior nearby. Given the times, I think that's good.
View on GoogleI came on a weekday afternoon, and there was hardly anyone here. This Excelsior is a hidden gem. Comfortable chairs are lined up by the windows.
