I visited for lunch on a weekday. I heard it was a casual restaurant connected to Murakami Kaishindo, so my expectations were high! I chose the 1,650円 lunch set. Soup, pork with a red wine and aromatic vegetable sauce for the main, and iced tea to drink. The pork was fall-apart tender, and the sauce was very light. It went well with rice, like a bistro lunch suited to Japanese tastes. The spinach ohitashi served in a cute little bowl as a palate cleanser was such a thoughtful touch. The interior certainly isn't spacious, but there were plenty of solo lunch diners, which shows how comfortable it is, including the service. The entire tabletop is a menu, so I was very curious about the other main dishes and desserts. I definitely wanted to return soon. I bought banana cake, financiers, and other treats for myself, and they tasted wonderfully good, as expected. Thank you for the meal. When I visited at the end of May, capellini was on the menu. It was refreshing and delicious. The warm soup also made my body feel cozy.

I came in during lunchtime on a weekday! It was my first visit, and the interior was fairly small. It seemed like many customers were dining alone. I chose the lunch set of rice with chicken and mushrooms in cream sauce! That was what I came for, so I was happy it was on the menu♪ The daily soup served first was Japanese-style vegetable soup today. It tasted like consommé to me, but it was very delicious! The main dish of rice with chicken and mushrooms in cream sauce had less rice and creamy stew than I expected, so I wasn't quite satisfied… On my way out, I bought a banana pound cake for ¥800. It had plenty of banana flavor and was delicious◎

I visited for lunch. There was just one seat left. Every dish was delicious, and the gentle flavors left an impression. Cake costs extra at lunch, but I really recommend ordering it. It's tastefully and carefully made.

Visited around 13 on a weekday. It was almost full. Of the 4 lunch options, 2 were sold out, so I ordered pork rice. I'm really curious about the carpaccio with nagaimo🌲 1500円 including a drink. It's lovely that they have wine😀 But since I was between work, I chose an herbal tea called homemade cordial. That also came in 2 varieties, and I chose lemon. First came an enoki mushroom? soup. Such depth of flavor… A meal with soup feels richer. It's nice that it's a potage, too. Then the pork rice had tender, slow-cooked pork that seemed to melt right away. The side was like pickled vegetables, perhaps pickles? The added acidity gave me a little change of flavor. The lemon and lemon-scented herbal tea after the meal left my mouth refreshed. Lunchtime usually passes in a rush, but we need opportunities to eat leisurely like this, too. Alongside office ladies having lunch, there were a few people who seemed to be neighbors. Almost everyone was taking sweets home, so I also got one canelé for my snack break at work. Buying just one item at a pastry shop takes some courage, but perhaps because I'd had lunch, I felt comfortable ordering it☺️ The bag had the shop's name written alongside Michiko Yamamoto's shop. That explained the many elegant lady customers.

With attentive service and carefully prepared food, you can enjoy your meal at ease. Many customers are composed older ladies, all very refined. As part of Murakami Kaishindo, it's a reliable place. I'd like to try the cake someday, too.
