A quaint little café run by an elderly man. English menus are available, and the coffee is great, especially with the comforting toast and boiled egg combo! Cash only.
View on GoogleWe came here to have a quick breakfast. There are 3 options from 7:00 am to 10:00, a) is only coffee, b) is a coffee with a ‘special toast’ with one hard boiled egg and c) is the same but with iced coffee. The coffee from the menu is similar to a batch brew and comes in two sizes (the americano is the bigger one). There are a lot of other options for other beverages and you can order only toast too. Now about the toast. The softest, fluffyest bread ever, toasted to a light brown level, bathed in butter and sprinkled with a bit of salt. It’s just so perfect 😭😭😭😭 The owner was so polite and nice to us, we felt very welcomed. He also speaks English, so if you can’t speak Japanese it isn’t a problem here. This place is a hidden gem and I only can recommend to visiting it if you can 💗
View on GoogleFor those who likes kisattens in the Showa era, this place is for you. I ordered the toast set with hot latte. The star is honestly the brioche - so buttery! And if you want to have it sweeter you can add the marmalade onto your toast. Would really recommend this! The owner is super friendly as well. Take note there’s no English menu if you can’t read Japanese.
View on GoogleVintage coffee house. Opened 40 years ago but may not be open much longer so visit soon. Recommend for fans of vintage kissaten that don't mind cigarette smoke. Smoking is allowed and there was a lingering cigarette smell in the air although no one was smoking when I visited. The owner was very friendly and seemed happy to have a chat. My blend coffee was fine and quite strong. I didn't have time to try any of the food.
View on Googlevery ambient coffee shop with a very sweet and helpful owner. the brioche was warm, soft and buttery and veryy delicious. the owner could speak English pretty well and we had no issue communicating. definitely recommend if you want to visit a more ‘local’ coffee place.
