If you are anywhere in or near Akihabara, take a short walk to this little restaurant along a quiet alley just outside the hassle and bustle of Akihabara. Here, you will find authentic and delicious Indonesian cuisine, dine within a neat and clean restaurant setting, served by super efficient and friendly staff. Food presentation when served, may not be the best compared with the local food of the country, but what they serve is extremely delicious, tasty, and outright outstanding. You have to try to food here, to fully appreciate the quality and taste of their dishes. Dishes like their Beehoon Goreng, or Nasi Goreng has that special “wok hey” flavour and taste and are simply a must-try when you visit. No regrets trying out this humble and authentic restaurant, and if you are in the vicinity of Akiba, make this a must-try place.

Food was very good I didn’t end up taking any photos but dessert but I ordered the following; - smashed chicken with rice, extra spicy - guava juice - banana w/ chocolate and cheese Forgive me as I don’t remember the exact names. If its your time trying Indonesian foods and your spice tolerance is not the highest, maybe don’t do extra spicy so you can enjoy the flavors more instead of sweating. I still liked my food very much. Wanted to try their drink menus but I only got guava juice which tasted good. my desert order was maybe forgotten about since I received my desert last but thats no big deal to me. This place is great if you want to eat authentic Indonesian foods in Akihabara. I went with my partner and her Indonesian coworkers and they go often. It was my first time and I really enjoyed it. I recommend if you are craving something actually spicy, and have never tried Indonesian food, to give this spot a try.

I came back to Cinta Jawa Cafe Akihabara again during my Japan trip, and it still delivered the same satisfying meal I remembered. The ayam penyet and nasi goreng were the highlights for me, with a nice mix of familiar flavors, and the satay and pisang goreng rounded things out well. It’s always reassuring when a place stays consistent over time, and that’s what I appreciated most here.

A remedy for Indonesians who miss their homeland's cuisine. We need more indo food in Japan. Although not near to homeland's taste (ie: its kalio, not rendang yet), but good enough.

After our delightful initial visit to Cinta Jawa Cafe in Shibuya, we knew we absolutely couldn't leave Tokyo without visiting their other branch. Making it our final meal in Tokyo before heading to the airport was the perfect choice, wrapping up our trip on a high note. Consistent Quality, Unique Atmosphere The Cinta Jawa Cafe Akihabara branch was, without a doubt, equally good as its Shibuya counterpart, yet it offered a slightly different and equally charming vibe. It felt wonderfully authentic, exuding great local vibes, and served as a fantastic place to chill and savor our last few hours in the city. We appreciated that while the quality was consistent—the food was amazing and all halal—the atmosphere had its own distinct character, adding a new dimension to our appreciation of the brand. Savoring the Last Bites Eager to explore more of their outstanding menu, we made sure to try a few different dishes this time around. Everything was delicious and meticulously prepared, reinforcing our belief in the authenticity and care that goes into their cuisine. We were truly so impressed with both locations and the phenomenal quality and service they provided throughout our stay in Tokyo. Our only regret is that we couldn't spend more time there. Cinta Jawa Cafe is now firmly on our must-visit list for when we come to Japan again. It was the perfect, memorable conclusion to our incredible Japanese adventure.
