I found this while wandering around looking for lunch when working in 紀尾井町. I went in without expecting much, and I couldn't have been more wrong. This time I had the yodare-dori set meal with added gyoza. A large serving of rice is free. Every dish looked so good in the photos that my expectations grew. They work efficiently and serve quickly. The food arrives with almost no wait. The moment I saw it, I was amazed by the portion size. The yodare-dori was piled high, seemingly using one large chicken thigh. The seasoning and cooking were faultless and delicious. The best yodare-dori I've had lately. The gyoza I added to the set were also quite large. The handmade wrappers were chewy, with crispy browned bottoms and lacy wings, and so juicy that meat juices overflowed. The generous filling had vegetables and chunky coarsely ground pork—it had been a while since I'd had gyoza this good. For this much food in these portions at 1280円, all I can say is the value is incredible. I struggled to finish the enormous amount, but was so stuffed I couldn't work that afternoon. My companion's knife-cut noodles were also very tasty, with lots of cilantro and an ethnic flavor. The liver and chive stir-fry and black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork the people next to us were eating looked so good that I wanted to come back for them. It was so delicious I'd be a regular if I lived nearby. The ヤクルト-like lactic acid bacteria drink included with the set was a nice little touch too. A place I'll definitely stop at again when I'm nearby. Thank you for the meal.

Visited 2 days in a row! Friday night was completely packed! I happened to get a seat that had just opened up, lol. Saturday night was relaxed🥟🍺✨ As a cilantro lover, I had the dumplings pan-fried on day 1 and boiled on day 2, and I'd definitely recommend the boiled ones🥟✨ The mala knife-cut noodles were super delicious too! It was my first time having hot Shaoxing wine, and with it being cold outside, it warmed me right up! I'll definitely come whenever I'm nearby again✈️✨

Visited for lunch. It was right at lunchtime, but I got in easily. The sign suggests knife-cut noodles and gyoza are their specialties, but they also had several set meals such as chinjao rosu. In the end, I ordered knife-cut noodles and gyoza. They asked whether I was okay with cilantro🌿. The noodles that arrived were spicy enough to make you cough if you inhaled wrong, but the cilantro's refreshing flavor was great. The noodles were chewy, and this alone was enough to fill me up. The gyoza that arrived afterward were individually large, and delicious. A successful spontaneous walk-in. 【Return visit】 I returned thinking a hot day calls for something refreshingly spicy! When I ordered soupless tantanmen, it seemed I could choose the noodles, but the staff energetically asked, “Are knife-cut noodles okay?” so I said yes, please, lol. The result was thoroughly delicious. There were lots of vegetables and plenty of cilantro flavor, giving a refreshing feeling amid the heat. The knife-cut noodles were substantial, and I ended up full.

The special black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork was the best of all the black vinegar sweet-and-sour pork I've had. Since this best dish came out first, I got really excited, but the others were ordinary. The black fried rice tasted as though it used Japanese soy sauce rather than Chinese soy sauce, which was a letdown. The gyoza too… the appearance and filling didn't match what I'd imagined. The xiaolongbao tasted exactly like commercially available ones. The pacing of the dishes was good.

A Chinese restaurant near my hotel on a business trip to 東京, with a focus on gyoza. The reviews recommended the knife-cut noodles, so I ordered them. I also ordered the boiled gyoza recommended by the staff. The knife-cut noodles were delicious! The gyoza were delicious too, with meat juices seeping out! The knife-cut noodles weren't as spicy as the reviews suggested, but they were rich and very tasty. The gyoza were substantial too, with delicious meat juices! It felt a little much for 1 person, but I was very satisfied! I skipped beer this time, but it seems like it would go well with beer. Thank you for the meal. I'll visit again. Thank you.
