Chianti Due
★For those booking through Google★ As a rule, we operate on a 2-hour limit. We will let you know if it gets crowded, so thank you for your understanding. Chianti Due in Sasazuka, the 2nd location of Il Chianti, has moved to Akihabara. We have 「Midnight Spaghetti」, a garlic-tomato-based soup spaghetti named for its eye-opening impact, heat, and flavor even in the middle of the night, and salads made with our original dressing blended from 16 ingredients, also known as the "magic drops". And we have a new signature item: rotisserie chicken! Of course, we also offer a variety of wines that go well with the food. The much-talked-about 「Brooklyn…

Book before you go! It definitely deserves 5 stars! Cozy place by the river within walking distance from Akihabara station. Very affordable prices but don't judge their food by that because the food was delicious!
View on GoogleThe people working at this place are super nice, and on top of it all, the food was delicious! Make sure you reserve a table so you can have a view of the river where you can also see the trains pass by. But the counter service is still as good, that's where we sat. I recommend
View on GoogleListen I don’t like to leave negative reviews but I’m so mad. My first visit was fine. But today I tried to walk in and the dude is like wait it’s full. So I sit in the lobby with other people waiting. He seats everyone that was there, then THREE PARTIES than came after me. I moved my seat it’s VERY CLEAR I’m still waiting and he sits ANOTHER party that just tried to walk in. I had waited for close to 40 minutes at that point so I gave up and at outside the hotel. Is he blind?? Also I paid for this ahead of time and before he stopped me when I first tried to sit I put my ticket in the box. Soooo maaaaaad. Anyway if you’re STUCK eating here arrive close to 7.
View on GoogleSet inside the Resol Akihabara hotel, 3 mins across the bridge from Akihabara JR station. Kanda JR station is also less than 10 mins away. A more authentic Italian but still done with a Japanese twist. The place is packed in the evenings so make sure you do make a reservation. Since I wasn't able to get a table the previous evening I went for lunch and ordered from the a la carte menu. The lunch sets did look solid value though. It was a little short staffed and the main dining room was in an L shape it was a bit of a struggle to get the attention of the serving staff. I ended up often having to get the chefs to get the staffs attention. The carpaccio (or more like a salad) was made with cutlass fish, which was very chewy, not helped by the fact that it was cut pretty thick for a carpaccio. Pasta was excellent. Squid ink (soupy) spaghetti with pancetta, squid and mushrooms. A little too soupy for me but taste great. Ended up ordering some baguette to mop up the sauce. They even give you a bib because the squid ink soup will cause somewhat of a mess that will stain your clothes forever. A5 Wagyu steak main course was pretty much standard affair but great value at ¥3,000. Served with Japanese style potato salad which made no sense whatsoever. A very nice latte (turned out to be a cappuccino) to finish off a half decent lunch. I did notice they do a foie gras margarita pizza so I might come back and try that later.
View on GoogleThe ambience is top class.. You get a calm view of Kanda river while gulping down authentic Italian fare. Bolognese pasta and tiramisu are must haves.
