Absolutely fell in love with this unique coffee shop near Hotel Monterey Hanzomon where we had a short stay. Was originally looking for a coffee shop where one could enjoy a few puffs while sipping coffee which is so hard to come by these days. Then found this gem of a place full of good old times charm, the interior, lighting and music so different from the annoyingly pretentious and sterile Starbucks like cafes. But most cool about it all is that it’s run solely by a charming and chic older lady who makes really good coffee and toast. Someone whom you feel have known for a long time, a warm human connection. Will return again and again if I ever travel back to Tokyo.

The owner showed very little courtesy, which was disappointing, and the coffee did not meet expectations. On the positive side, smoking is allowed.
