My Japanese friend recommended this restaurant. Located near Akihabara, 10 mins walk. Surrounded by high buildings. Restaurant is a nostalgia traditional Japanese house. Staffs are exceptionally, even in Japanese standard. Sakiyaki chicken is very tasty which quantity is enough for my big appetite. Very refreshing as usually Sakiyaki with beef.
View on GoogleVery traditional taste and atmosphere of Japanese food experience. Chicken sukiyaki with seasonal vegetables and tofu and konjac. The chicken is tender and everything is tasty though it needs some punch to be perfect. However, I do like its traditional feel. Service is perfect. Will invite people who look for tradition of Japan.
View on GoogleGo to Botan to discover the original sukiyaki, but with a twist : chicken instead of beef. Excellent food and service for this traditional restaurant, located in a historic, pre-war building (a few others remain around that survived the Tokyo bombings of the 1940's. A time-slip worth the detour. And iif sitting on the tatami the whole time is too hard, you can ask for a "za-isu".
View on GoogleSpecializes in chicken sukiyaki instead of beef. Full of flavor for the 8000yen course. Building looks deep in history. The oyakodon at the end was the best.
View on GoogleA very pleasant experience at a nice sukiyaki restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had some issues because you have to sit on the floor close to a small table and I have long legs, but the staff provided a stool which helped somewhat. Great food, which I am told is quite rare with chicken rather than beef.
