Underground restaurant. Good food. Very packed at lunch times
View on GoogleTo put it mildly, this is top class. On my first visit, I ordered the lunchtime stamina pork curry for 1,000 yen. It comes with salad, miso soup, and coffee or tea. First, the taste was very good. Personally, I found the salad and miso soup delicious too, and above all, the stamina pork curry was excellent. First came the sweetness of the pork, followed by a clear savory flavor and a mildly spicy kick. I thought it was a truly wonderful curry. I had not eaten a rich curry full of savory flavor lately, so it made me want to have it again. Beyond the flavor, I felt the system was excellent. Almost all the lunch dishes are priced at 1,000 yen, which I guessed might be intended to simplify the hassle of payment. Of course, each dish also comes in a generous portion for 1,000 yen, making it very satisfying. Right after entering, you take your own water and wet hand towel near the entrance, then head to your seat. I arrived before 12:00, but it filled up immediately after 12:00. You can tell it has a good reputation in the neighborhood. Also, orders are served incredibly quickly. I imagine they have devised ways to serve food fast. Every staff member's service was faultless, and for the first time in a while, I felt I had found a place I wanted to revisit. The restaurant is underground and you cannot see inside from outside, so if there are interior photos on google maps or similar, checking them before visiting might make it easier to enter. The toilet is Japanese-style squat.

View on GoogleAn inconspicuous Showa-retro coffee shop on the first basement floor, but packed at lunchtime. You can enjoy homemade lunches: shogayaki, hamburg steak, Napolitan, curry, and more. All come in generous portions. ¥950 with a drink Run by an efficient woman and her mother? Orders are served in 7~8 minutes. Rather than refined, the flavors are gentle, like home cooking when you return to your family home. Looks like I will be coming here regularly for a while (haha)
View on Google2026/1 The shogayaki is still incredibly delicious! 2022/9 I had shogayaki. A comforting flavor that lives up to your expectation of what shogayaki should taste like. It was delicious. 2022/8 The restaurant is run by a woman and an older woman (I do not know whether they are mother and daughter). Both are quick on their feet and efficient, so food arrives fairly quickly after ordering. Each day, they offer a regular menu item at a slightly reduced price. Being underground, it might feel a little intimidating to enter, but inside it has a nice retro feel. The hamburg steak is comforting, just what you want it to be. On another visit, I had the karaage set meal. The karaage seasoning is slightly sweet. A little unexpected. I visited before noon, but other customers were already there; it was quite a popular place.
