We came as a group of five, and this was the price! That and the course meal surprised us. It really was one of Kanda's renowned bistros. We did end up adding omurice.

A restaurant that's been running for over 30 years. The lunch omurice has curry inside too.

Back in the early 90s, I used to go drinking here almost every day after work. Everything is delicious, but I especially liked and often ate the quiche, crab cream croquettes, oysters with bacon, and beef tongue stew. The owner, his wife, and their daughter are all approachable, and it's a homey, relaxing place. Now that I've retired, I rarely have a chance to go to Kanda, but I'd like to make time to visit.

This restaurant is under the elevated Keihin-Tohoku Line tracks on the Akihabara side. It's narrow and extends deep toward the back. The lunch omurice has that nostalgic, old-fashioned taste.
