It’s very small little local Japanese style coffee place not much food but coffee is great. I had toast and a latte it’s was like only 750 yen

It was a nice and quiet place with some great music. The young lady who was serving me was very nice and polite and the food was warm and cozy. I can only recommend coming here.

The sweetest little spot with studio ghibli-like atmosphere. Unpretensious and comfy.

It was a small café near the hotel, and I went in because the beef curry caught my attention. One reason I like Japan is that I love little neighborhood cafés like this. The beef curry was so delicious I wanted another bowl, and the coffee was excellent too. Cash only. A place I definitely want to revisit when I come to Ueno.

Did you know January 22 is Curry Day? (lol) Apparently, January 22 became Curry Day because in 1982, the National School Nutritionists Association called for curry to be served as the school lunch menu nationwide. Well, I’d completely forgotten about that and just happened to eat curry. (lol) 🟩European-style beef curry (950円 including tax) Includes soup and a drink (coffee or tea) This curry—is it really European-style? To me, it tastes more like Japanese-style curry with a strong pepper kick. Well, that aside, it’s full of chunky pieces of beef. I think it’s good in its own way. I chose tea for my drink. A treasured, long-established coffee shop in Suehirocho—please keep going strong.
