Excellent set lunch at bench window overlooking the main street. Brilliant for (price at time of review) ¥750. There is a time limit of 1 hour and that's totally understandable as they are pushed for busy periods to turn tables. Had the pot of tea (pot has an extra fee but is worth it). Generous pot - refilled 2.5 cups. Usually not the case in Australia where teapots are smaller than the cup (why even? 😆). Set lunch meal: 2 options A or B. I chose A. Salad, brioche bun with ham, cheese & salad, small corn soup, pot of tea, bagel with jam. The Apple Farm is in Nagano and that's where the jams are created. Served with a small portion of cream cheese. Absolutely delicious. Friendly staff. Clean cafe. Atmosphere is calm with relaxing, quiet, slow music. More like a country-side artisanal cafe than a cafe in the quiet side of Akihabara. Very reasonable and great quality. Love it and we will be back!

Visited アッルファーム, which I'd been curious about. It's on the second floor of a building, and the entrance feels a little uninviting, but the interior is spacious with relaxing European-style decor. Beside the register is a retail area selling scones, jams, and tea. The large windows make it feel open. There are 2 lunch plates to choose from. A toasted sandwich or a bread roll & half bagel. Apparently they change weekly. I chose the toasted sandwich, filled with tandoori chicken, and it was ¥800 including a drink!? Wow! Fantastic value. For my drink, I had plain black tea and paid +¥50 to have it in a pot. The lunch plate apparently comes with complimentary soup; today it was pumpkin potage. Very rich and absolutely delicious. The toast was thinly sliced for easy eating and toasted just right, and the tandoori chicken had just the right heat and tasted great. Then a surprising service!? If you're still hungry, you can request an extra half bagel or half portion of toast! I asked for the bagel with cream cheese. Lightly toasted and fluffy, it went well with the cream cheese. Another favorite place added to my list (haha).
