It's been a while since I found a truly delicious, authentic neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The lemon sour is strong on shochu, and the gyoza feel like boiled dumplings given a crisp sear. You can choose with or without garlic. The garlic version was very garlicky. The wrappers are chewy and the filling fluffy. No complaints about the stir-fried pork and green onions: delicious green onions, delicious pork, delicious sauce. An easy-to-enjoy flavor. What impressed me was the spicy stir-fried pork liver. The liver was tender and springy; just looking at it, I knew it was a winner! Lots of green onions and plenty of ginger-forward sauce. I poured the sauce over my finishing fried rice and ate it all. Above all, the kindness of the couple who own the place was lovely. I want to be able to drop in here saying, “I'm home〜”!! That's the kind of place it is. I uploaded the menu, but there was a notice announcing a price increase from November 4. My first visit for lunch. Perhaps by chance, there were 3 solo female customers. A neighborhood Chinese place where women can comfortably come alone is precious. I ordered ramen and a small mapo rice bowl from the lunch-only menu on the sign beside the entrance. It was my first time trying the ramen; the noodles were very soft and not to my taste, but the soy sauce flavor was classic neighborhood Chinese. It was delicious. I ordered under the mistaken impression that only the lunch menu was available at lunchtime, but apparently you can order the regular menu as usual. Right, next time I'll have a set meal!

⭐️Delicious neighborhood Chinese food with brilliant teamwork from a married couple‼️@Suehirocho Since most of my recent lunches have been Western food, this time I visited the neighborhood Chinese restaurant 〝味の三恵〟 after a long while. It's about a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Suehirocho Station. I'd wanted to visit for some time, and this time aimed to arrive before lunchtime. I visited just after 11:30 on a weekday. There was 1 customer already, and apparently this area gets extremely crowded during lunch from 12:00〜13:00. 【Order】 Lunch-only ginger pork set 980円 Half ramen 480円 Inside there are only 12 counter seats, with commercial TV as background sound, fluorescent lighting, and the atmosphere of an old-fashioned neighborhood Chinese restaurant. It's run by a married couple, and the atmosphere is lovely. When ordering from the wife, I asked whether I could add half ramen, and she replied, “Of course〜”. She kindly asked things like whether I still wanted the rice included in the set. The noodles and set meal arrived 10 minutes after ordering. In husband-and-wife restaurants, usually one mainly handles the floor, but at 三恵 it was wonderful seeing the couple cook as a team⭐️ The main plate of the ginger pork set had ginger pork, shredded cabbage, and mayonnaise, a generous helping of rice on a flat plate, and the half ramen came in a fairly large bowl, with a substantial portion. First, the ramen. The noodles were on the thin side, with a miso-based broth. Topped with nori, menma, and green onions, the noodles were smooth and firm, and very delicious. The miso broth was also very tasty, with a peppery kick. Next, the main ginger pork set. Vegetables first, so I started with the shredded cabbage. Perhaps because the cabbage had been cut and stored beforehand, it wasn't juicy and fresh, but I enjoyed it with mayonnaise. Well, the cabbage was ordinary (haha). Then the ginger pork. For some reason the rice was on a flat plate, and even the regular portion was fairly generous. The ginger pork sauce was very delicious, and the meat was relatively tender and tasty, making the rice go down easily‼️ There were so many slices of meat, it was very satisfying✌️ While eating the set, I used the remaining ramen broth as a side soup, and enjoyed them together. Fantastic⭐️ Ah, the couple's smiles and teamwork were soothing, and I'm grateful for the delicious food‼️ Payment is cash only. Thank you for the meal‼️

(9th visit: gomoku chukadon) I arrived just as customers were turning over and could sit immediately. Service was quick, with the smooth pace of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant. The sauce was generously filled with napa cabbage, carrot, green onion, pork, squid, and more, living up to the gomoku name. Its thickness was just right and paired well with rice. (8th visit: moyashi soba) Moyashi soba (780円). The piping-hot thick sauce was packed with savory flavor and very satisfying. The noodles were soft but held up, and the overall balance was good. Including the humor on the menu, it's a reliably enjoyable bowl. (7th visit: fried rice and 3 gyoza) I ordered fried rice and 3 gyoza. Apparently it was fried rice day? I was a little surprised that all 4 customers who arrived afterward ordered fried rice. So they prepared a large amount of rice and began cooking it. The customer before me apparently ordered fried rice too, and mine was the second plate from the same batch. Moist fried rice with plenty of ingredients, lightly seasoned in my view but thoroughly delicious. I thought the previous half fried rice had crab, but didn't notice any this time. At 750円, it would be surprising if it did contain crab. The 3 gyoza were the old-fashioned kind with a well-kneaded filling, comfortably enjoyable. (6th visit: gomoku chukadon) If I remember correctly, the owner had closed for a while due to ill health, but seemed to have recovered and reopened, so I'd been looking for a chance to visit. I'd come several times but it was always full. Perhaps because I arrived a little later this day, a seat was available, so I went in and ordered chukadon. The tabletop menu seemed new, and while casually looking I noticed lines like “Mom's smile and hospitality are priceless♪♪,” “Kotoshi ha makenaizo,” and “Like a Mi〇helin Guide Bib Gourmand—中華味の三恵.” I felt I'd glimpsed the owner's playful side and grinned to myself. The chukadon ingredients seemed carefully prepared after ordering, with just the right amount of thick sauce and the essential quail egg. This was delicious, too. (5th visit: half ramen・half fried rice) Ordered half ramen・half fried rice, 880円. The place is run by a very earnest-looking husband and a kind-looking wife; on closer inspection, she handled boiling the noodles. Even half portions of fried rice are individually and carefully wok-tossed. The half ramen arrived first, followed a little later by the half fried rice. The ramen noodles were cooked on the soft side, but suited the old-fashioned broth. Naturally, the half portion of ramen vanished in no time. The fried rice was moist and lightly seasoned. The variety of ingredients was probably the same as a full portion, and they seemed to use 1 egg. I thought it was quite delicious. (4th visit: moyashi soba) Ordered moyashi soba, 680円. A large bowl with plenty of soup and thick sauce. Although named for bean sprouts, it contained green pepper, carrot, onion, napa cabbage, and pork—so much variety it could almost be gomoku ankake soba. The sauce was neither too strong nor too mild and seemed to suit the soft noodles. I didn't finish all the broth, but enjoyed it. As always, the proprietress was so pleasant at checkout that this alone made the meal very satisfying. (3rd visit: gomoku katayaki soba) Ordered gomoku katayaki soba, 700円. The proprietress prepared the fried noodles in the kitchen. Nothing flashy, but thick fried noodles covered in a vegetable-packed sauce, exactly the kind of lunch I wanted that day. A good lunch, including the feeling of my jaw getting tired toward the end. (2nd visit: tanmen) Ordered tanmen (the menu writes タン麺, ラーメン, and 味噌ラー麺, using kanji except for ramen), 620円. After ordering, the proprietress put the noodles in the pot while the husband prepared the soup and toppings. The vegetables were boiled rather than stir-fried. Alongside pork, there were plenty of vegetables: cabbage, napa cabbage, bean sprouts, carrot, wood ear mushrooms, garlic chives, and onion. The soup was a salt-seasoned chicken-stock broth, unmistakably tanmen. The noodles felt slightly soft, but perhaps that's just right for tanmen. (First visit: chukadon) After confirming the gomoku chukadon, I ordered it with less rice, 700円. After a short wait, fried-rice-style soup arrived, then the chukadon. The rice portion was just right. The quail egg in the middle is surely an essential chukadon item. The ingredients were mainly cabbage, with carrot, green pepper, bamboo shoots, and pork, I think. Perhaps not using napa cabbage is their style. The seasoning was light. But with all these ingredients in the thick sauce, it was delicious.

Tokyo・Yushima. Introducing the fried rice・half ramen for 980円 at Chinese restaurant 味の三恵. A neighborhood Chinese restaurant in a back alley midway between Tokyo Metro's Yushima and Suehirocho. It's a small place with only an L-shaped counter. Looking around wondering whether there were any sets?? I found just 3 combinations of ramen and fried rice! ・Fried rice・ramen 1,100円 ・Fried rice・half ramen 980円 ・Half fried rice half ramen 900円. You can choose the combination you prefer according to your mood and appetite that day. Since they all begin with 【fried rice】, I gave fried rice priority and ordered fried rice・half ramen. The clang! clang! of the pan being tossed in the kitchen right in front of me was so pleasant. The fried rice featured char siu, carrot, green onion, and egg. Moist fried rice with a generous amount of oil well distributed throughout, delicious enough with simple salt and pepper seasoning. Delicious!! This is it! I tucked in eagerly. The uneven, slightly large pieces of char siu were a nice touch. The half ramen had a delicious soup with pronounced animal-stock flavor. Toppings were thick-cut char siu, menma, green onion, and nori. The noodles were a little soft. Simple, delicious ramen without excessive grease. Since I was eating a full portion of fried rice, this amount was enough. Both the fried rice and ramen were so good it was hard to favor either. Their ramen・fried rice sets let you choose the right amount to suit your mood that day. Delicious! #湯島町中華 #湯島ラーメン #味の三恵 #末広町ラーメン #末広町町中華 #町中華 #千代田区中華料理
