Great authentic Japanese restaurant(Kappo cuisine), 60 years in business!! I don't think the staff understand much English but they're super nice and friendly. I always have a good time here. I recommend going there if you want a REAL Japanese experience. Nice food & sake, also fun Edokko master will great you!!
View on GoogleA calm restaurant with delicious hotpot too. I think sake suits the food, but I'd like a little more variety, or perhaps fewer size options and more 4-go bottles. The simmered whelks served as an appetizer were excellent too. We had duck hotpot, but next time I'd like to try oyster hotpot as well. We had sashimi, fried dishes, mountain yam somen, and hotpot, and were too full for noodles at the end. There were two of us this time, and they accommodated us with 4 oyster tempura instead of the usual 3. Next time I'd like to come with a larger group.
View on GoogleA restaurant for adults, though the atmosphere isn't stiff. Rather than serving exceptionally fancy dishes, it offers proper Japanese food. They even carry sake from Edo, giving it a real Kanda feel. I think it's a good, dependable restaurant.
View on GoogleAlong with the oyster hotpot set, we enjoyed raw oysters, fried shirauo, and more. To finish, we had Inaniwa udon added. The chilled Miyagi sake made using the yamahai method was light, dry, easy to drink, and delicious too.
View on GoogleI never expected to enjoy such thick, delicious sashimi at lunch. The bento seems popular, but perhaps hardly anyone eats leisurely inside? I had a quiet, relaxing time.
