What a hidden jewel. We wanted to hear some local jazz while visiting Tokyo. We chose this place as it seemed set apart from larger mainstream venues. I didn't know you could find such an intimate place in the hustle and bustle of this city. Live jazz, decent food, hangout, friendly staff. Watch out fot ir. It's located on a back street on the 4th floor. A great evening w great entertainment.
View on GoogleThis cafe is owned by the sweetest couple who used to live in New York and visit the Adirondacks where they found inspiration for this lovely restaurant. The night we visited, was a live jazz music night and the atmosphere was so cosy and welcoming. We loved connecting with the owners and sharing that we are from the Adirondacks, which is why we visited!
View on GoogleWe had lunch here. It is a jazz cafe and the music is really good. We got free tomato soup along with the set which was easily the best tomato soup I've ever had. The lemon chicken set is not mentioned in the menu but we had seen the past photos of it so we asked and they said they can make it. Both lemon chicken and grilled tuna were amazing and fulfilling too. You can have drinks at half price if you order the set too.
View on GoogleLovely hole in the wall spot to listen to some music! I went here on a whim and had a great evening especially since I caught a live band playing. It seems like there were a lot of locals that night. Very easygoing and friendly ambiance. Sound system was very good. I was able to chat with the owners and they are a sweet older couple that really loves jazz. The cafe is full of old school jazz decor which I really enjoyed too. Highly recommend!
View on GoogleThere’s not enough good things I can say about this place. The ambiance is great if you’re into jazz, and if not, it’s still super relaxing (they also have live jazz on Tuesday and Wednesday). The coffee is good and the sweets are delicious. I had the gateau chocolate cake and it would recommend it to anyone. Apparently the apple pie is to die for, so I’ll be back to try it. But the real reason I’ll be back is to hangout with the owners. They were so sweet and friendly and we talked for most of the time I was there. They lived in America for a number of years so we were able to talk about a lot of things. Such a wonderful time with them. Please go support this place and those two lovely human beings.
