I found it close!
View on GoogleDelicious. A short visit. The miso looked good too, but sticking to my basic principle of「soy sauce first!」, my eye was caught by the delicious-looking chashu in the review photos, so I ordered a large chashu-men and gyoza. The gyoza with plenty of garlic chives were delicious too. My order sold out the gyoza. Just made it. Although it's a small restaurant, it had a friendly atmosphere, with everyone from families to tourists.
View on GoogleI went for lunch. There are only 3 tables inside. It seems popular, and some people were waiting outside. The chashu is very thick (over 2cm), so it's satisfying to eat!
View on GoogleMost customers come for this restaurant's chashu-men. It's certainly thick, tender, falling apart, and it's nice that it isn't unnecessarily seasoned. It's definitely Showa-era ramen, rather than today's rich ramen or seafood-broth soups. But the ramen's flavor is ordinary. It would be better if the soup were a little hotter; it's a shame it starts cooling midway through. The large portion isn't that big, and the amount of chashu stays the same even if you order large. The gyoza don't strike me as especially delicious, just ordinary. Personally, I like the fried rice, but tastes may differ. Orders take time, and since the restaurant is small, you'll likely queue at lunchtime, but the queue is simply because the restaurant is small. Packed to capacity, the interior feels like a 6-tatami room with 10 seats.
View on Google「ちび」is run by an owner who normally does a different job, and opens only on Saturdays and Sundays until that day's soup runs out. If you want to eat, you may need to place your order by around 11:30 or 11:45, since chashu-men or fried rice might become unavailable because of ingredients? My personal recommendation here is the shio ramen! The soup is really delicious・・・ 泉津 used to have cafés and other places too, but now it's down to just ちび or 武田商店, which is really sad.
