There is a POS machine showing that they accept the card payment by door that’s why I decided to enter the restaurant. But when I checked out, the staff asked me to pay cash otherwise 10% + surcharge when paying by card. Without cash, I have to pay the surcharge and there’s no sign or explanation written for that at all.
View on GoogleCheap, and a lot. The only problem was with the soup and desert, were flavorless.
View on GoogleI sometimes come here for lunch. Tasty for the price! Everything I've tried so far has been a hit. It was my first time having the paiko in paiko-men with what seemed to be a breadcrumb coating? But it was tasty in its own way, so I plan to order it again. I also like the spicy beef fried rice and am hooked on it.
View on GoogleI like those evening drinking sets that come with a main dish, a snack, and a beer. After finishing some errands in 本郷, I was wandering around when I spotted this place and impulsively went in. The restaurant is spacious enough for banquets, and the high ceiling gives it an open feel. I ordered the drinks set. I expected the shrimp and egg dish I ordered to be fairly firm, but it was actually very soft and creamy. That worked too. The dressed dried tofu tasted a little too strongly of artificial seasoning, and the fact that it was warm rather than chilled left me feeling a bit unsure. Beer is always a bargain at 350円, so I ordered another. It felt like a quintessential mainland Chinese restaurant, but overall, I was satisfied with my evening drinks.
View on GoogleIt's incredibly busy at lunchtime. But the portions are huge for the price, and the food is authentic and delicious. It's relatively quiet at dinner. There are so many menu options that I always struggle to choose. I even want to try them all someday, haha. It's a little inconvenient that they don't accept PayPay and the like, but even taking that into account, I think it's worth visiting.
