Above all, amazing value!! The regular rice portion with a set meal is 250g!! A blessing for my growing son with a big appetite! Only 10 counter seats inside. The staff are nice too! The interior is clean and neat. Order from a tablet. GO when you are hungry!

Visited again in September 2022‼️ It had been renovated. Meal tickets now use a touchscreen, counter seating only, alcohol available too, and the taste is the same as before ^_^ Delicious. Buy a meal ticket and sit down. The interior is on the small side❗️ The katsudon in particular is the best. The coating stays crispy until you finish, with a slight miso flavor. ゆしま食堂 was the first place where I thought katsudon was delicious

Orders are placed using a tablet. I ordered ankake yakisoba for 980 yen, 1,078 yen including tax. The ingredients, consistency of the thick sauce, and browning of the steamed Chinese noodles made this a more authentic ankake yakisoba than I expected, with a flavor that would satisfy ankake fans too. Happily, it also contained 3 quail eggs.

An eatery beside Yushima Tenjin. There are few seats, all at the counter. I had katsudon with a large serving of rice here. It tasted good!

The restaurant is smaller than it looks from outside, but the food is very good. They also serve alcohol, so you can have a daytime drink after visiting the shrine.
