Just ordinary. Food was good but it's too highly priced for the quality, the portion and The selection of food they have .

View on GoogleA yoshoku restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building, a 5-minute walk from Kasuga Station. Apparently the owner trained at Shunkotei in Mejiro. Once seated, you're told there's a one-drink minimum and no additional orders. I had: ◇Chardonnay (900円) ◇Shredded cabbage (300円) ◇Rice (500円) ◇Menchi katsu (650円) ◇Bite-sized pork fillet cutlet (650円 ◇Crab cream croquette (900円) ◇Cover charge (500円) The bowl of rice and cabbage served with the fried food felt expensive, but the fried dishes tasted exquisite. Tender pork fillet cutlet with a pink center, and croquettes with rich béchamel sauce packed with crab. The menchi katsu squirted meat juices when split with chopsticks. Served with salt, Worcestershire sauce, and tonkatsu sauce. The coating was coarse yet extremely thin and light. A little expensive, but very delicious. Incidentally, the owner accepted additional orders from the people at the next table, saying, “You won't be full, will you?
View on GoogleWhen I searched Google for “yoshoku Tokyo,” I found this renowned restaurant ranked 5th in Tabelog's “Tokyo Yoshoku Popularity Ranking TOP20.” The restaurant faces the street and is easy to locate, but I walked past while looking upward for its sign. Look for the cute sign down below (see photo). I arrived without a reservation at lunchtime on Saturday (12). There happened to be 2 seats available, so we got in right away. I ordered the mixed fried platter. There are various combinations, so choosing was a real struggle. If you go with others, trading your favorite fried items is a good idea. We swapped fried squid and a croquette. The highlight is definitely the pork fillet cutlet. Tender, with a beautiful, faintly pink cross-section. Salt, Worcestershire sauce, and tonkatsu sauce are provided, but it's delicious plain too. Sauce lovers should also try the Worcestershire sauce. Its rich umami lets you enjoy a different side of the fried food. Rice, salad, and dessert or a drink were included. Rice lovers may find the rice portion small, but extra rice is available for 300円. Keeping food quality this high for the 2-thousand-yen range amid rising prices is wonderful. I ordered an extra lunchtime beer and had a blissful lunch.
View on GoogleYouthful, modern mixed fried food. Set F, 2800円. Starting with a salad brought together by the potato salad. The fried squid is notably tender. The fried shrimp is small but thick and intensely flavorful. The menchi is really thick and overflowing with meat juices—amazing. The pork fillet cutlet is incredibly tender, surpassing expectations, delicious. Salt is the basic choice; the spicy Super Tokusen Taiyo Sauce, with a name like a superhero, makes a nice change. There's a mysterious service where you choose either dessert or coffee. Why not both? I thought hojicha ice cream would offer the best of both, but perhaps it was a little too sweet. Judging just the fried food, it's high-level stuff reminiscent of Yachiyo's set C. It might depend on the horse mackerel, which was sold out. But a small rice portion and no soup feels sad to a set-meal lover. A small place with about 16 table seats on the 2nd floor, up stylish exposed-concrete stairs. Saturday 13:24, someone was just leaving, so I got in easily. The menu is yoshoku, but the main offerings are 8 mixed fried set meals. Operations feel a bit unpracticed; food arrived in about 25 minutes. Perhaps if they put the salad on the same plate, added miso soup, and offered rice and cabbage refills, this place has the potential to become legendary.
