Everything was good. We only ordered a half eel over rice and were surprised how much we got for the money. The staff was really nice and friendly. They did their best to let us feel comfortable.
View on GoogleReally great place. Amount of food you get for the low price is astonishing even though it's in Akihabara. The interior is pretty simple, but staff and food quality are great. A lot of locals are eating here, which is also a sign for me. They have menu in English and even the guide how to eat the eel meal properly. I would totally recommend this place. Sadly we didn't take any photos, just started eating immediately :D
View on GoogleThis is the one of best unagi shop I ever tried. If you like bigger meal, should choose MATSU, this is whole pc (probably) and it’s thick!!!✨✨✨ You should try this as one of Japanese meal if you stay around Akihabara!
View on GoogleOn January 8, 2026, just after 1 p.m., after paying my respects at Kanda Myojin, I went in for lunch and was able to sit right away. The shop was new and clean. There were many kinds of unaju and I had a hard time deciding, but I ordered the "Premium unaju, Ume, 1/2 eel, 1,900 yen." It was my first time seeing eel sauce that you could add yourself. The eel was fluffy and very delicious. The amount of rice was just right for me, but apparently you can make it a large serving for +100 yen. It also came with clear soup and pickles, and I thought this price was cheap. It became a nice memory of Kanda Myojin. When I was leaving, I was stuck because the door wouldn't open whether I pushed or pulled it, and a person waiting outside showed me with a gesture that it slides sideways, which really helped. Thank you very much.
View on GoogleI think returning the menu to how it was when they first opened is simple and good. You just pick Matsu, Take, or Ume based on your appetite at the time and the volume of eel 👌 Wasabi and green onion have become a must.
