One of my favourite places in Japan! Always feel welcomed, warm, and peace everytime I visit. No menu list other than Abura soba for dinner time and dishes are decided based on the ingredients the Chef gets for the day. Highly recommend to visit!

Nice ramen with less soup? It was east to eat on a summer day, becuase ramen would be too hot in the concrete block! It was only 750yen for a bowl so it was affordable too!

An abura soba specialty shop. There is basically one menu item; you just choose the amount of noodles. It's a simple setup where you then add toppings. I chose the medium 230g portion and added an egg topping. The first topping is discounted by 50円. The thick, curly, high-hydration noodles look glossy with oil, but unlike other abura soba places, they are surprisingly light. It was just right for lunch, and I enjoyed it. However, you can see the dishes being washed from the counter seats, and since customers can see it, I wish they would wash them a little more carefully.
